A BRIEF PROFILE OF THE REGISTRAR

MR R.A DADA
The appointment is for a period of five years in the first instance and renewable after a satisfactory service. As the Registrar, he would be answerable to the Provost for the day-to-day administration of the College’s Registry department.
Born on June 30, 1963 in Ilaro in Ogun State. He attended Nawair–Ud– Deen and Abeokuta Grammar School between 1973 and 1981 respectively. He graduated from the University of Lagos, Lagos in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts (History). He also possessed a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the University of Lagos in 1990. He obtained a Masters’ of Education in Education Management from the University of Ilorin in 1996. The new Registrar is a member Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered) and an Associate member Nigerian Institute of Public Relations respectively.
Before joining F.C.E, Abeokuta, he worked with the Ogun State Teaching Service Commission between 1985 and 1992.
Mr. Dada joined F.C.E, Abeokuta in 1993 as Administrative Officer I and was posted to the Registrar’s Office. He rose through the ranks to the position of Deputy Registrar in 2006. Between 2007 and 2011, Dada served as Deputy Registrar, Admissions and Certificates Verification; Deputy Registrar Centre for Degree Programmes (CEDEP) 2011 – 2014; Deputy Registrar [Sabbatical/Pensions Unit] F.C.E. Okenne, Kogi State November, 2014- 2015 and held position of Deputy Registrar/Administrative Secretary Computer Centre and Step B Services before his elevation.
Mr. Dada, Rasheed Afolabi is happily married with children.
